The ever popular Lil Wayne will be performing for the first time with Jay-Z in the 105.1 Powerhouse concert in New York. Lil Wayne has become very successful during the past year with hits such as "Lollipop" and "A Milli" topping the charts. He beat artists such as T.I. and DJ Khaled in the BET Awards. Lil Wayne has 12 nominations in the BET Awards. Although he really appreciates the accolades, Weezy said he rather be doing what he is nominated for- making music. Many call him the Hottest MC in the game and the Best Rapper alive while other do not agree. What do you think about Lil Wayne as an artist? Do you enjoy his work? Or do you not find it impressive? Lil Wayne is one of a kind. I love listening to his songs! At first i might find some songs like "lolipop" useless, but after a while of listening to them i end up memorizing all the words to the song. Before i used to like him even more until i found out that he didn't write his own lyrics. I still like him and his music, i just lost some interest in him. His voice is pretty funny though. It's unique which is what makes him and his songs unique. Overall, i still enjoy listening to him and his songs :)!
I agree with danielle, he certainly is one of a kind and lyrics never ceases to amaze me but his message is either negative or just downright inhappropriate. As a person that many teenage boys look up to, he should portray himself in a decent manner. Right now, he is the hottest thing around so I guess you can say he is the best MC and his style is crazy but for me he is not my favorite.
